Production Scion iM will Debut in New York
Along with a production model Scion iM, we’ll get to see another production ready Scion at the 2015 New York Autoshow in April. Aside from it's
world premiere on November 19, from now till then, anything can happen, so make sure to keep an eye out for breaking news
here.
Before the iM even has an opportunity to debut Scion is already moving beyond that. Scion corporate manager Dave Harbuck let it be known that Scion will have two new production models on hand at the New York auto show next April.
The first car will most definitely be the productionized iM, however the second he has remained coy on. What Harbuck did say however was that it makes sense for Scion to leverage Toyota's expansive global portfolio.
So what's the early speculation? Well for one there is the Aygo city runabout however there are doubts about its ability to meet US crash ratings. Other options potentially include the Verso, a 7 seat tall hatchback, or the Urban Cruiser which is essentially an xD with AWD.
Sales peaked at 173,000 units in 2006 and last year they dwindled down to a meagre 68,000. Whatever Scion ends up bringing to New York the reality is things cannot get much worse...

Scion iM Concept World Premiere in Los Angeles
Mark you calenders! Wednesday, November 19, at 3:40 p.m. is when you'll see the Scion iM Concept in full at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show!
After a dearth of new products and slumping sales, Scion is looking to spice up its lineup once again with a “distinctively sporty” new model called the iM.
Teased ahead of its world premiere at the LA Auto Show in November, Scion says the car “reflects the evolution of Scion as the needs and desires of its youthful customers also evolve.”
Photos of the car will be shared on Instagram and those looking for more info can join the conversation online using the hashtag #iMDriven.
Scion’s Los Angeles Auto Show press conference will be held Wednesday, November 19, at 3:40 p.m. in the South Hall.

Interior could be close to the Toyota Auris & Corolla
Chances are, interior on the production model Scion iM could be very close to the Toyota Auris it's based off of and the new Corolla which shares the same interior.
