Installed my fog lights and blacked out the area behind the fog light grill so the silver paint didn't show through.

Installed some caliper covers that my wife bought for me. Installed a narrower rear mid chassis brace that I found in my garage and I have no idea what car I bought it for but it clears the scuba so I bolted it on. I also took off my winter wheels and tires and installed my 3-season tires and wheels.

Be very careful with Caliper Covers. Many reports of brake overheating as they can inhibit the release of heat

These don't envelope the caliper at all and have been tested extensively for this issue. I've not seen any complaints from other owners of these. I think that it's like a lot of things where some people spread fear from a bad product and act like all brands are the same. This doesn't block cooling air from the caliper in any way. And they look nice since the calipers on the iM aren't that attractive so I wasn't sure about painting them. My MR2 calipers are painted and they are always chipping which is a pain to keep looking nice.

So I finished the installation of my TWM short shifter. The installation was very simple, I've installed 5 of these on my various cars now so I think I've learned some tricks to it. This kit even came with base bushings though so I installed them too. I bought the kit 2 years ago, not long after I bought my iM. I'm sure glad I did since they went out of business which I never saw coming. Here are some pics from the installation with some before and after pics. The shifts are nice and smooth with excellent feel. The fun factor was just increased by 10 fold!

OEM rubber base bushings compared to TWM aluminum base bushings.

OEM shifter is out and ready for TWM short shifter.

TWM short shifter has a aluminum reverse lock out compared to the cheap plastic one.

Drove around and had an idea for an engine swap which I have been researching a ton lately! Once I have stuff I'll make posts about it!
This sounds interesting.... gonna give any hints what you have in mind?
