I'm trying to wire in some LED light bars and whereas there's usually three wires running to the light I only see two. Where can I tap into to run a bar off high beams only.

In case you havent messed with the headlights yet the headlight is a single filament bulb. High beam comes from a shutter inside the headlight assembly that changes the angle of the beam. You would probably have to tap into the wires to the shutter. I just wired mine to a seperate switch. I was thinking of adding it to the gigh beam switch as well but haven't gotten around to it.

That's what I was thinking but I haven't been able to find that wire yet.

I was hoping someone here had done it.
Hi! I like to work with my hands. Such work in the house or with my car makes me happy. But everything that concerns the electricity I prefer to call the expert. It is more safe than to risk with my health and with the devices. I had some expert professional electricians that can work with wiring, installations, home networking, generators, security systems or electrical repairs and I call them always. So, I advice you to do the same.
