This car rules in snow!

So Chicago just got like 5 inches of snow in one day and i was driving through out the storm and i gotta say, this car rules in the snow. Currently on the stock i think toyo tires which don't have much grip but idk what makes up for it. The car just whips around all the turns and barely understeers. Traction control off always and just flick the hand brake a little and it's basically a RWD car. i'm really impressed with how it handles in the snow. Gonna throw my winter tires on it this week, will probably get even better.

Thank you for the info. I was just thinking about it since we have way less snow here in DC, but it will be coming. I am sure winter tires will do total magic on handling.

I like my iM more and more, which is a little surprising since long-term ownership usually reveals all of those tricky issues that the car may have.
winter tires on and the car was ripping! i was in a huge IKEA parking lot having some fun and an audi S4, VW CC, and IS250 AWD joined me last night during Chicago's great weather. i'm having a blast with this car so far and the traction control actually isn't that annoying, i keep it on when driving regularly now, but if i know i'll be plowing through some deep stuff i turn it off cz it thinks the car is almost almost sliding lol.
