It does look good but I don't think that it'll be the color I go with. This^ picture looks great with the blue sky behind it.
I know. I think most will choose the bright colors, which makes it even better for me choosing white to have a rare color.
Plus I think this pearl color always looks better in person than pictures.
It actually seems like a nice white, a bit metallic-y. I hate when you get that primer white flat look...
Looks sharp in white and going from the stats on most popular colors, chances are this could be one of the most popular Scion iM colors.
Of course it is an extra charge for the Blizzard Pearl so that will draw a few back on the color.

Actually, I am wondering if the extra charge won't apply to the iM. Has Scion ever had an extra cost color?
Almost all the tri-coat whites have been an extra charge. For Scion if you price out a Halo (fR-s) or Blizzard (tC) there is an upcharge of $395. I would expect this to be true on the iM as well. Just be happy it is not a GM vehicle where the upcharge can be as much as $995. Still, plenty of people have a White Diamond GM vehicle.
Being an extra charge shouldn't be much of an issue since it's such a small number added to what you'll end up paying monthly for.

That is how Scion is hoping you'll look at it. But let's be clear -- you're still paying that extra $1k, whether it's in monthly installments or upfront.

Saying it "shouldn't be much of an issue" is not a good piece of advice, unless $1k does not mean anything to you. And if that's the case, you can send my local dealer $1k to apply to the down payment on my iM ;)

$1000 more for what?
After 11 years of silver on my xB, I am looking for a change. But now ,looking at real life photos, I am really liking it on the iM. The silver looked too dull on the website because it is a rendition of it and not a real photograph. Can't wait to see all the colors in person!

$395 isn't much extra, but it does go against the whole one size fits all thing that Scion has going on. I like that Scion doesn't have options or other things that costs extra. If the color I wanted cost more I would be willing to pay $395 more for it though.

As you can imagine in 11 years things change. Silvers and greys of today are nothing like what they were like back then. Silvers these days have A LOT of life to them... great for those of us that want a great looking vehicle with paint that is much more forgiving than the rest.

I don't know.....my silver is still pretty spectacular after all these years....nice metallic.

So far it doesn't look to be the case. But then it hasn't been officially "priced out" (too early) so I could get a surprise that there is a charge.

I have been torn between White and Silver, so maybe the extra charge will make me wait a bit longer for a silver manual to get here.
What are the chance that someone can negotiate that charge off the order? If it's the only thing in the way of a deal the sales person could potentially wave it just to get the process over with.

Anything is possible, but my gut tells me that with set pricing it won't happen.

I think it is too early to say whether or not this is going to be a drawback. Most Scion owners are looking for a new car at a budget price. Even something as small as a $395 upcharge may sway them to another color. Sure people who own a Suburban or Yukon don't have a problem as it is a very small percentage of the msrp, but those are at least 3 times the cost of the iM.

With Scion's pure pricing, I doubt they will be able to negotiate anything off the car. If anything they will give you $4395 for a $4000 trade in. Or throw in $400 worth of accessories. Either way, you sill still pay the full amount for the iM.
