I recently attended the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto and the Scion iM concept was there on display. I took some pictures for you guys, but I will say that the car was locked so there is only one picture of the interior and it has some reflection from the window.

Mostly what you can see here is the aggressive body kit of the Scion iM concept. The kit at the front and the back is very impactful, but I question whether it is going to stick around once we get to the production version. I don't see it happening, at least not in a way that is actually very close to what we see here. Especially considering the recently revealed Toyota Auris, which probably looks more like the eventual production iM than the concept does.

Here is the picture i took of the interior. Like I said it is a bit distorted from the reflection, but you can tell from the picture I've posted below of the Auris what the iM interior will look like.

the proportions of that IM front end seems sort of in line what what's supposed to be the CT successor that lexus teased.
thats possible, subtle changes a bit sharper...
Yea you can see the similarities. If you just add in the spindle grille to the iM then it would be a good match.

I think that the Toyota Auris will look more like the Scion iM than the Scion iM concept unfortunately.
Well, we can all cross our fingers that some of that aggressive body kit makes it in one way or another to the production model. Even if its an option.

For sure, the iM concept had a body too wild for a production model, clearly. Actually... there's a good chance that what we get will be just a rebadged Auris with little hints of scion that make it a bit more scion-like (i hope)

What do you think those hints will be? Body kit? The matte taillights? Something else?
not sure since this will be the first time we're getting a scion vehicle like this
i was going to reference the FR-S in comparison to the GT-86, but that difference that happened is not what i want to see here.

not much happens, badge, grille, mild mostly
I just hope that they offer plenty of accessories so that even if the iM comes without much different from the Auris, people will still be able to do things with it to change the appearance and also upgrade the performance as well.
Not sure about having plenty of accessories but there will at least be some.
TRD will be one of those, or SHOULD be one of those involved.
But will there be more accessories than just the ones that were on display at the CIAS? Anyone know?
it's just way too early in the process to know that
we'll have to wait till the iM production model reveals
at that time they might show some accessories.
Will the Scion just get copies of all the accessories that are available for the Auris?

Even if we do get that, the stuff offered on the UK Toyota site isn't that impressive.

I would like to see that happen.
It's an easy move for them and quick win for us.

The plus side to the Auris already having a wealth of accessories readily available is if Scion takes too long to catch up on things individuals need, they can be ordered from Toyota UK.
It would be a pretty bad business move if they don't offer those accessories immediately. I don't see what excuse they would have.
Whether its Toyota/Scion, or an after market company, it would be very cool to see a body kit like the one on the concept being offered. It would be nice to have the chance to get something that is close to what was shown to us in the concept. Fingers crossed.
I thought the iM concept was totally adolescent with that body kit. I hope it arrives at U.S. dealerships looking just like the Toyota Corolla Auris sold in other countries, and priced at about $17K.

If you want to add anything, then either option it out with overpriced accessories from the sales department or parts department... or buy them aftermarket.
