Made of steel, had a look at the website. I mean yeah looks good but really would of been stronger if it was made of tubing, better still ally tubing. You got dimentions of it, could see if i can look into better manufacturing

So after the successful install and great results of TB Performance Products Mid Chassis Brace I got looking around at what else they have.

I asked about the Rear Mid Chassis Brace being offered for the tC2. Products

He affirmed that it would work on the iM, so guess what I am buying next.
So how do you like the 2 braces you added?

I've been looking at these braces for a while so I just pulled the trigger. Looking forward to installing them. I bought the Mid Chassis Brace and the Rear Mid Chassis Brace. :D

So I got the 4-point mid brace installed when I installed my DNA exhaust. That was a nice simple install. I tried to install the rear mid brace but it hits the scuba part of the exhaust. It would be so easy for him to put a notch in it so it would fit the iM. I'll look to see bout having it modified to fit my iM.

It's a blessing to have him making parts available.

I redrilled the rear mid brace to make it fit.

Do you have a pic of how you re-drilled it to make it fit? I didn't think of that solution and I can't picture it.

No picture but I just moved it back, marked it and redrilled.

These parts are the exact same parts that he sells for the tC2, but the exhaust is just a bit different on the iM that it hits the Suba tank thingy. I discussed with Daniel (the owner) the problem I had and he offered a spacer kit to make it fit but I just redrilled the holes instead.

He no longer lists the Rear Mid Chassis brace for the iM because he does not have an actual iM to find an exact location needed to put the holes at.

It would be so easy to just get a measurement from you as to how much you had to move it and make the tab with the mounting holes longer so he has a part that fits the iM perfectly. I was looking at my piece and wondering how much I need to move it the holes. I'll have to take a look the next time I have a chance.

I agree but I also think how easy it would be to make it fit the iM and just have 2 different parts. I know that would be how I would do it if I was making and selling parts. The more you can offer the more you will sell and many don't want to have to modify parts that could easily be made to fit properly with little effort. ;)

How much difference can you feel with the brace installed?
Having three under braces and both front and rear strut bars, the iM corners so smooth. I can easily take full corners at 30+ MPH.

The biggest "issue" I now have is the seats are not keeping up. I start sliding in the seat before the car is done.

I can totally attest to that. I thought about lowering it but decided to go this route instead. Dont have the rear brace but with front and rear strut bars, mid brace and traction bar (which also helps with wheel hop and off the line acceleration) cornering at auto x is a dream. TB performance Products all the way for sure.

I had a dropped car before and while they look great, it was a PIA.
