Did you just tint the back or the front as well with just a much lighter tint?

I've always been a fan of keeping tint levels consistent or the back just a bit darker.

I'm assuming it's lightly tinted due to local laws. A lot of states only allow marginal tint on front windows for the "safety" of law enforcement.

Is it able to handle the intensity of the Quebec winter? It doesn't strike me as the most winter capable vehicle.

This car can handle the most severe winters with the star safety system and a good tires set. I feel myself very well protected. My wife have Impreza WRX and i feel the same in my IM (without HP lollll)

It nice to know you don't have to buy a CUV or something more expensive to deal with harsh winter weather. That is one mark of true quality.

Actually you don't need anything special at all for winter.

5 years ago when I had a Supra as my summer car, I had a Toyota Tercel on winter tires that did very well, i was flying by people in AWD Subaru's.

Sometimes having a vehicle just for winter is the best thing to do since what they treat the roads with can do a number to the underbody and body. In that case i rather buy a cheap FWD or AWD subaru with a used set of winters and sell it when the season ends.

There are no restrictions on rear window tinting, only the front set. You can only block 30% of the light on the first row and windshield. Adding front film blocks more than 30% by default since cars generally come with a minimum of tinting and protection these days, in addition to other factors.

No, it doesn't suck, blocking the view out of your car is stupid. Ideally, we'd have access to transition tints but this industry is f'ing slow to pick up on anything.

I just got mine tinted recently 15% all the way around and 5% on the rear for douches with high lifted trucks with wannabe HID's and a 5% strip in the front but it wouldn't stick to the dots located on the inside of the window near where the mirror mounts so be aware of that and hopefully you have some tricks to remedy that.

Not bad at all.

Only think I hated about 5% rear tints is how much cops can bother you at times, especially if you're in an import, for some reason that's a bad combination, especially if you're in a Honda.

They're a dealer accessory in Canada. My salesman's demo has one equipped.

nice! at least we don't have to look elsewhere for these which i bet are in stock at the dealer won't have to wait any small number of business days for delivery
