Most Yotas and Lexus are a simple twist off and on. My 2008 xB you just twist off the handle end. I would suspect you could interchange with a better looking one from a lexus or another toyota. Hopefully threading is the same though.

Automatic or Manuel transmission ?

Manuel is propably just unscrew, automatic you have to pull down the chrome trime under the knob and then you can unscrew the knob

Looking at different shifters. Is it a simply screw off, or is there a set screw to undo first?
Nice, that looks really cool man ! Does that carry an decent weight to it ?
Haven't made up my mind yet but I like this one.

I know modiction and twm performance makes some nice, not too flashy weighted shift knobs, I'm just worried if the height/size would effect the whole pulling up the shift boot when going in reverse. Anyone have any idea before I drop 55$ for a shift knob
what's the thread and pitch, cz that's really the only thing that matters for the auto shifter.

12mmx1.25
nice. does it stay connected well? ive read online some folks have been having problems with some screw on shifters because of the plastic piece under the knob.

I had to apply just a bit of adhesive to mine. On the stock shifter it snaps into place. An aftermarket one won't
