Just installed my second TB Performance Chasis Brace. This one is pretty easy, took about 30 minutes including the time to ramp up and jack up. Replaces the stock brace.

It is a bit more, did not measure it.

Took it out for a drive, a lot of vibration. Almost sounded like I had no muffler

Turned around and put it back up on the stands, the brace was rubbing on the exhaust.

I had some spacers that I put in place, all good now

So I emailed Danny of TB Performance about the part not fitting properly.

He is his response:
"I totally forgot to include some spacers in your order! Im so sorry. Its been so wild around here lately that i must have forgotten to stick them in your order.
Normally i include a few standard washers to space it up an extra 1/8-3/16" as the iM has a different exhaust system than the tc2/xb2 chassis it was originally built on. I apologize for the headache and invconvinece."

Totally love it.

He makes a rear strut bar, but it cuts through the hatch.

I am told that the Eibach tC2 rear sway bar will work.

TB Performance does not offer that brace anymore for the im but they do offer it for the scion tc2 which I think is the same? Right? Where did you get that smaller stamped metal brace?

do you know the Torque specs for the rear chassis brace bolts?
