2015 saw Scion xB sales rise, but not enough for the model to stick around for 2016. In 2014 sales were down 7.1 percent. 2015 saw sales rise by nearly 19 percent. Too little, too late though.
Scion VP Doug Murtha told WardsAuto, "The xB will be leaving the lineup at the end of the year."
The boxy hatchback is currently in its second generation, receiving a minor refresh in 2013 -- a year after reports initially began to point to discontinuation. The second-generation extension even came as a surprise, as Scion originally intended for its models to be laid to rest after a single life cycle.
