With the reveal of the Scion iM on the floor of the LA Auto Show, we also got information on the vehicle's pricing. The Scion iM will be priced under $20,000 when it hits dealerships sometime in 2015.

That sounds like a pretty affordable car to me so I'm happy. I wonder what it will cost fully loaded.

I certainly hope so considering Corolla begins at $16,900 and tops out fully loaded at $19,970. So yea if they want any hope of capturing an audience it better be competitive.

As much as we may want to believe otherwise this is the bottom end of the market place, as in "which is the least worst car I can get for my money". 72 easy payments and we'll get you to work on time...
Now we know a bit more information on pricing instead of just speculating. Does it bother you that we have two pricing threads? So what are the chances that the iM is priced higher than the Corolla?
then they've made an error in judgement...
I just can't see why they would price higher than a Corolla. If they are going after young people, I don't see how young people are going to be willing to spend extra money on a Scion iM instead of going for a Corolla. When you are aiming for the young, I think that you have to price things lower. I think that cost is one of the biggest factors in young peoples' buying decisions.

Okay, lets hear what you think or even know "young" to them means.

There's no way it will be cheaper than a corolla.

I can tell from what you are writing you already think I'm wrong and are ready to jump on anything I say. >:D

I'm thinking that "young" is going for people who are 32 or younger.
That is likely right.
People around that age range should at least have the credit to get a vehicle like this, for most it will be attainable enough.
