Scion has pitted two of the hottest automotive clothing brands against one another in a Scion iM tuning challenge!
Spearheading the design for the illest team is creative director Mark Arcenal and his opponent is co-owner of Crooks & Castles, Rob Panlilio.
Both teams will have a budget of $15,000 to spend on their tunes and the design process is already underway. Their unveiling will take place at an exclusive event in Los Angeles later this year and enthusiasts will be able to vote for their favorite Scion iM build on Scion’s own tuner challenge page presumably after the reveal.
Team illest’s design concept so far seems to include a lowered body, black exterior paint, new rims and interior window curtains.
Team Crooks & Castles’ Scion iM is a bit more Japanese influenced with a wide body kit including fender flares and splitter, lowered body, AccuAir suspension, white leather wrapped roll cage and basket weave mesh.
Both designs may still be in its infancy stage so changes between the design drawings and the actual production models are not uncommon.
Lets hear everyone’s speculations as to what the final product will look like and how either tuned Scion iM’s will perform.
Maybe illest will custom create a set of their Fatlace FZERO1 or FZERO2 wheels for their iM build.
