I found this cool body kit for the European Auris body kit. I could get the price for $500 below included shipping. The thing is they wont fit the US Scion iM.

I used buy car parts from this seller, so I email the seller see if they have interesting on making any duplicate bodykit for Scion iM. Once they email me back I will post the result.

Yeah, the iM is a certain trim package of the 2015 Auris. That is for a 2014 so that would be why it wouldn't fit.

from the phtos i found on google. the 2015 Auris front lip is different than Scion iM.

There are two body styles for the 2015 auris. I think Europe only got the base model kit. If you look at the Japan or Australia models there are 2 body kits. The base (like Europe) and the sportier (like the iM).

When looking for body kits, I would look to the JP yahoo auctions or something along those lines. Does anybody know what the model code is/will be? For example, the first gen xB (the bB in Japan) had a model code of ncp30. When searching on JPY I would put that in and find good stuff that would mostly fit my xB. You will also need to find a broker (someone in Japan willing to ship you the product after winning the auction for a fee) in order to get your stuff.

If this confuses you, I would stay away. If not, then I would look at clubxb.com as there is a thread on there about one of the guys willing to be your broker. JDMISME, I think is his name on that site.

The other and cheaper (MUCH cheaper) and quicker option for a lip is to make one yourself, but it won't be to the same effect as to what you see from aftermarket companies, but something for the DIY'er to do.

Then there's also one cooler way to go about this which is to find a lip that comes close enough in fitment and making changes where needed.

Good for the DIY'er or someone with a good bodyshop that can take on the task for a decent price.

I'm a supporter if they can make it look seamless, but I have seen many examples of bad chop jobs with body kits. You really need to do it in a way that doesn't make it look like it wasn't originally meant for the vehicle in the first place.

I work in a body shop, and I wouldn't recommend bringing it to me. My techs prolly wouldn't take the time needed to do this right. My suggestion would be an aftermarket company like someone who does remote starts and things like that. Or even better yet, a restoration garage. Someone who restores older cars. Sometimes they spend months on cars.
