So all the dealers in my area in Southern California never even heard of this car. How can I preorder?

I called 4 of my local Toyota dealership..and they all knew about these new iM and iA cars will start on 09/01. Price will be the same..it is just the matter of choice. I went to the dealership where I bought my FR-S back in 2012. they work out great for me, the sales manager show me the shipment of the first batch of August. I found only 1 blue manual iM..i didn't think much, and just place my deposit down to hold the car.
this will ensure it is mine.

email/call your dealership..they should getting some shipment, depends on location. the numbers of shipment would be different.
All the scion cars are pure price..so there won't be discount.. but when I placing my preorder of the iM. the sales manager promise me give me discount on TRD parts, hopefully invoice price of the TRD parts, really want to get the lower spring, anti-swaybar and exhaust.

Call around to several different dealers. I did a search and sent in a request to each of the dealers within 100 miles of me from their websites. I found out that only one or two stores in my area are getting manuals. One 40 minutes away is getting a red manual (my preference) so I told her to call me a little closer to when she shows it being delivered.

@peacenoel , did you order floormats with your iM? I looked on my dealer software with your vin from above and saw the package "CF" was on it. That is the carpeted floor mats and rear cargo mat package. Did they tell you how much extra that option is?

Hi, I have carpeted floor mats and rear cargo mat package on my list too.. i really didn't pay attention when i placing my order..but again, it doesn't cost that much difference on price.

If i really really really dont want the "carpeted floor mats and rear cargo mat package"...i can try talk to the sales manager take those off the car...but again...it really don't make much difference on price to the car.

It would be cool if it is free..you know what i mean..but there is no free lunch.

If you live somewhere that gets messy winters, do you plan on getting a set of winter mats from a brand like weather tech for when that time comes around?

i am actually will plan to get digital floor liner..either weathertech or husky brand..both are quality build and made in US

i am sure when the iM release..those floor liner company will start formatting the production line.
