Glad to see these orders starting to roll through on the forum, especially after seeing all the details we need to know about it just to buy with pricing being one of the main things.
Did you guys ask your dealer about any other iM orders they've put through?
I did not ask...this is the first year of the 2016 Scion iM..expecting a big sale on 2015 year
When I bought my 2013 FR-S back in December 2012, the first year they release the car. it is a hot cake. I know the first few month when I visit the dealership..you wont able to see one on the lot..because those are already been preorder by others.
Scion is good on this..they push little to the market..test water..when the demand is over supply..then people start talk about it and spread out the news.
for $19225 (my car's price). this is a toy to play with. just like FR-S..Ibuy it because it is easy to modified and tons of choice on car parts..not like M3, STi. too pricy to maintain and buy parts
Scion iM will have lots aftermarket car parts coming out after the car is released. Plus..maintenance is very low. the 2013 FR-S I had no problem after 35K miles on it. i do my regular maintenance at home myself. all the parts are easy bolt on and play-plug.
I will expecting iM will do as good as FR-S..again..remember the Scion iM use the 1.8-liter I-4 producing 137 hp and 126 lb-ft of torque..same engine as 2015 Corolla Eco. very good review on this engine from lots Japanese car site. do your research about it. Toyota invest so much money to produce this new engine for the Corolla Eco. you can read more online..
i am done..typing alot on my iphone..it is tire.
