Performance upgrades

I got a 2016 scion iM. I was able to buy a dna motoring catback exhaust, and a short ram intake but I honestly don’t want the catalytic converter. I was thinking buying new headers and then finding the pipe to go from the headers to the catback exhaust system I guess I’m just confused on how I can get my catback exhaust to go straight to the headers. I’m just trying to look for ideas for this car I bought this car with 1 mile on it 5 years later I still have it she’s paid off and there’s no more warranty so I might as well mess with it and do some performance upgrades. I’m just looking for ideas and if anybody has tried anything different or just tips in general. Thank you

There are a couple of threads where different things have been tried with the exhaust. Mainly beyond doing the catback, is the scuba tank will be removed (which isn't replace by the catback).

For what it is worth... depending on where you live.... removing the cats might give you grief. Also may result in a check engine light.

Live in Texas, don’t really care for the emissions. Able to find an inspector to look pass the engine light and pass my car. The scuba tank will be removed no matter what the state requirements for emissions
Think the scuba is just a resonator... would be curious what the DNA Motoring kit sounds like with that out.
Been doing some searching and I think I found a straight pipe that can go from the headers to my catback system with the removal of the scuba tank.

Any exhaust shop should be able to make that for you. You will have a CEL without the CAT though. Mine sounds amazing with my CAI, header, and DNA exhaust. I still have the scuba and CAT. I'm at 160whp though so it feels much better than stock.
