To be honest, it us more of a for looks items than needed grip. Still, it does seem a bit grippier than the bare pads.

That's good to hear. I just remember buying a set of pedal pads before and they looked great but were for grip quality. With the shoes dry, they used to slip off the pedal, when my shoes were wet, game over
