I noticed something that I find pretty awesome.
It seems my 2018 Corolla iM has partial Android Auto support!

1. I install Android Auto on my phone
2. I set it to launch when connected (ie: wirelessly) to my car via Bluetooth
3. I set the head unit to Bluetooth
4. profit! I now have a playlists option on the head unit!

Selecting "playlists" presents the following options:

• Music for driving. This is a google-curated dynamic playlist
• listen now. This brings up a list of recent Google stations
• playlists. This lists the playlists I have created within Google play music
• podcasts. Haven't played with this
