Order your iM Online

Looks like Scion will be experimenting with online ordering once the iM and iA reach dealerships in September.

Knowing all of this about the new little Scion iA, it’s easy to overestimate the entry point for this car. Scion has a one-size fits all pricing strategy that includes no trim levels and only a very few dealer add-ons. The company made its name with its no-haggle, simple price structure and is expanding that with online ordering capability through select dealerships. This will, in many cases, include hand delivery of the car to the customer, making it possible to buy a new Scion without once seeing the dealership.

This is interesting. I bought a Scion TC in 2005 and the whole Scion purchasing process was really easy. I only had the car for 6 months but I can honestly say it was the easiest car purchase I've ever made. I'd like to get into another hatchback soon for daily use. Miss my 04 Matrix XRS.
This could work really well in combination with special events that feature the iA and iM so that people see the car ahead of time in person. I would prefer the dealership, but I could see this happening. I bet some people would like it. It also helps to expand Scion's dealer network to more places.

I am hoping they send samples out before September. Maybe one car to one dealer in each major city. Maybe as a reward to that dealer for the best past Scion sales.
I found the site for online ordering : New iM Sporty Hatchback Car | Coming Soon | Scion.com
The issue I find with this ordering process is that the buyer will not be able to test out the car before purchase. Not sure if this option is for me even if I'm part of the younger generation.
One redeeming quality I found while clicking around is that there is a Expert you can talk to in real time via video, voice, chat or phone.

That's one major downside especially since there's nothing like it aside from the Corolla to compare it to. Reason why I rather say in contact with a dealer to get that opportunity of getting behind the wheel.

True....you can take a test drive at the dealer when they get them. Then you can take your time deciding if you want it and order online.
