Optional fog lights? (Aussie Corolla)

Our fog lights should be look like this....

Aren't there not supposed to be options really? Don't the fog lights just come with the car standard?

No....not on the iM we will get. It's not on the standard features list..

Fog lights have almost always been an accessory on Scions. I can only think of a few release series cars that came with fogs standard.

Everybody keeps saying there are no options available with Scions which technically is true, but there are several accessories that can be put on by the dealer before you take delivery. Things like fog lights, exhaust systems, different wheel/tire setups, body side moldings, rear bumper appliques, spoilers, etc.

BTW I think with some LED bulbs these fogs could look amazing.

Looking through the press photos on Twitter, I found this. Unknowingly I had looked over it on almost all the press reviews, but is this the rear bumper protector accessory? I'm not seeing it on the "virtual" pictures on the Scion site so I doubt it will be a standard part.

yea probabaly a dealer accessory. I wonder if they let the journos try that stuff out too, would make more sense as to wehy its been accessorized this way...

I think that is an accessory ....seems like I read that somewhere.

I bet the dealers push the accessories pretty hard since they probably make much more off of selling those add-ons than they do selling each individual vehicle.

I'm actually interested in seeing if anyone will retrofit the stock fog light housing with projectors.

Shouldn't cost too much to get that done especially if you're doing it yourself.

Right.......I have no reason to believe it will not look just like this....It would be silly and costly to make a different design just for the US.

Are you sure this isn't just another bad exposure like that "teal" we saw at the press event and this is actually the standard red?

I went to "build your IM Scion". No sunroof option, nor fog light option. Two things I'm very interested in. Guess I won't be getting one.

You could see if there are options after market for the fog lights. Sun roof is not going to happen though.

These are some of the things you give up in a single trim model in order to keep the cost low.
