Whatsup everyone, I'm a new owner to a 2016 scion I'm (manual transmission). I really do love cars, always loved cars since I was a kid, and this is my first owned car. I've been told Japanese cars last a lifetime, so I'm really excited to see where I go with this car. Had a question though, car is all stock. I don't really know what I should do first to it as I am also a college student so I don't have crazy funds lol. Was trying to start off w a new speaker system however, any recommendations? Also average price range? Thanks for everyone's help! Can't wait to see what lies ahead. (Also interested in buying a stage 1 tuner like the plug and play ones, if anyone can give me tips on those):)

Hello and welcome! Unfortunately there aren't many aftermarket options for our cars. I believe there is a short throw shifter available, there's a small range of coilovers available too. There's a couple cold air intakes out and there's a plug and play catback exhaust made by DNA out too. As for audio, I've heard people installing hertz components in the doors wired off of deck power and having no problems with install. To me, the door speakers aren't all too bad, of course could be loads better, but if saving some money is important. Look into some low end, get yourself a lineout converter, an amp and a sub. If you install yourself. You'll learn a lot on where everything is in the car, you'll take apart the dash, trims, probably cut yourself from the sharp edges lol. It's all fun though of course.

Also, if you haven't noticed already, the forum isn't as active as it used to be. If you have facebook, there's a group called im enthusiasts where it's a lot more active and questions get answered more quickly.
