I will be replacing my Toyo Proxes this fall, I will have around 30k miles on them (23k right now). It is probably one of the best tires I had, but it gets slippery in the rain and since we do get occasional snow in DC, I would rather get them replaced some time this November. The ride quality is excellent, stable, firm, and comfortable. They are wearing out well, just slippery when wet. I am thinking about Goodyear Sports A/S or Continental PureContact. I may also go cheap with Nexen, Kumho or Hankook or even Cooper. I had all of them in my family at some point, all good tires for the price. Hankook now has a local factory in Tennessee, they have amazing prices on Amazon. Kumho and Nexen are very close. Copper is an American company, I had H-rated Cooper CS4 on my Accord 2007 long time ago, it was great for the price. They now have CS5 that fits our stock rims.

I still don't understand the difference between Touring and High Performance? It looks like Touring is more comfortable and HP is better for cornering and stability.

Anyone still looking for used stock Toyo Proxes? I can sell mine for very cheap. They have 27k miles on them, about a quarter of the tread still left on them. I am in DC area.
