Hello forum,

Question for everyone.. Is it just me or the Scion iM could use some cool sport pedals in order to make the car look a bit more premium? Which is why..I was wondering what you guys recommend for sport pedals?

I was looking at the Lexus F Sport Sport Pedals MT and I was wondering if those would fit on the iM? From looking at pictures on the internet, they look like a direct fit. I wonder if any one has done it yet?

I've seen pads for the CVT on eBay but not for the MT. Maybe this is the better way. I'll bet that the pedals are the same and these will fit just fine.

I'll give it a shot and get back to you guys. I just ordered the accelarator and one clutch/brake pad for a iS250/350 from Amazon so I'll give that a shot. I can always return it if it doesn't work out.

Can you post the link to the part you ordered?

Hey Gang!

Update: I'm here to report that the pedals did indeed fit in my car! :) But... with a little bit of muscle. :( It was truly a pain in the ass, but I was able to do it. Prepare for your fingertips to hurt lol. The secret is to throw the pedals into the oven.. Yes, the oven. I have a tiny oven in my home (not the stove) that I used to heat up my food so I used it to soften rubber behind the pedal but once the pedal gets hot.. (little smoky) make sure to dip them in water so they can cool down a little bit so you guys can touch them. The second image shows how they look from the back. As you can see the triangle pattern is different, but trust me it fits. Basically, once you heat them up, the rubber can be a bit stretchy which can help to wrap around the corners. Since these pedals don't use any screws or any other hardware, the corners are the most difficult since the rubber gets hard over time when cold but once you play with it, it should fit. As for the accelerator, it's a tad difficult since the pedal is part of the assembly and not a removable cover like the clutch and brake.

I ordered mine on Amazon:

here's the link with the part number: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018INMFPS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I hope this helps.

Thanks,
Rony D

Yeah, they look nice. I went on a test drive a few minutes ago and the clutch feeling feels hard. What I like is the fact that since the pedal feeling feels harder, you can feel more pedal feel and vibration from the clutch compared to the squishy stock pedal covers.

So what about the gas pedal? Did you change that one too? If so, what part number worked for that? These pedals look just like my Toyota pedal covers on my 2009 Corolla S. I used a little dish soap inside of them to slide them on and it worked great.

No, not yet. I'm waiting for the accelator pedal which I bought from Ebay. It's coming from 'China' * Trump voice. I bought a lexus accelarator pedal but it was for the assembly so I returned it and found one that had the rubber wrap-around like the clutch and brake. :) Update to follow.

Lexus pedals update

Hi everyone,

Update: Here's the finished product. I had to wait for the accelerator which took some time because it came from china. So here it is.. I bought the pedal on ebay. It was easy to install and no heating or dish soap needed for this lol.

Search on ebay - Sport AT Pedal Accelerator Brake Pad Fit Toyota Corolla RAV4 2013-2017

Since links expire on Ebay.
