I like the hatch, but would like to see a slightly larger rear window. In my wife's Rav4, we ended up taking out the rear headrests for more visibility and I think I would have to do that here as well.

why not just go with the blind spot mirrors? I've always liked those far more then trying to look through cramped back windows...

I guess I'm old school and not ready for alllllllllll the tech in my car. I like to physically see what's in my way rather than relying on a computer to tell me.

But then again I currently drive a gen1 xB without a single bell or whistle.

I don't think this car is high end enough to get blindspot mirrors.

While more cues from the concept would have been great on the side profile, i'm still very happy with how the production model ended up looking like.

I don't like the front bumper and lower grille work. UGLY. The rear bumper reflectors could have been better integrated. The skirts are ridiculous add-ons. And, the wheels are juvenile. Otherwise, I like the car.

Yea I ten the rear bumper could have been a bit better and more aggressive. Almost looks like it isn't there right now.

That was one thing I feared looking at the auris before we even got a chance to see the Production iM and even the iM concept:

The area of the iM that I like most is the hatch and the tail lights. The handle is a little weird, but other than that the hatch is done very nicely.

i think scion really missed the boat on this one. maybe if they put the 2.5l 179 hp engine in it, or at least the 2.4l 159 hp from the xb, it would be able to compete with the mazda 3 & honda fit. as it is, it is way underpowered for a 3,000 lb car imo.

For the sake of cost cutting and consistency, this powertrain works. Plus giving it even more of a boost is the fact we don't have a hatch like this.

But I agree, more power is needed.

NO one know this yet. The car isn't even on the road. Keep waiting.

Considering it's basically a Corolla wagon/hatch, that is a good thing to suggest.

The added weight shouldn't do too much to its power to weight ratio either, not enough to feel sluggish.

But you might feel it in turns.
