What's up Scion IM owners.

Currently own a 2014 STi and a 2007 Honda FIT. Looking to replace the FIT with the IM (hopefully soon) as my DD. Also looking forward to a doing few mods to the car, as I am one who just can't leave a car alone and looking stock ;-)

So, do you even RUN? trolololol

Welcome, I've owned quite a few Subarus myself. Loving my iM so far.

Dropped and tinted the iM already (haven't even hit 200 miles yet. I actually just came in from the driveway a bit defeated... went to install a sub and amp, but the OEM headunit does not have RCA outs like previous Scion models.

Looking at your Subaru... Are you west coast? Pretty sure I have seen it in a magazine before... you on air?

Nope, never run. The car is pretty much a garage queen. Just turned 2 years old and have just over 5xxx miles on it.

Diggin' your IM....can already tell that I'll be following you and everything you do.

Yes on west coast, SoCal....but no on being in a magazine. My previous car though was featured in the Eurotuner magazine(2008 GTI). Suby is not air, static and really low. I'd like to get air one day, but the wife aint happy about the costs on that! ;)
Nice! I've actually owned 3 Subarus since my last Scion (1st gen XB). I had an 05 WRX I sold to get and 04 STi. Sold the STi at 67k miles making 350/380 on corn juice and EWG stock VF39 to get an 02 Wagon (always loved the bug eyes and wagons and found it unmolested with only 80k miles 2 years ago. I ended up going ham on it making 300/280 on 93oct and realized I needed something more fuel efficient. So I find myself back in a Scion.

The wife's car is actually the fun car now (MKIV 1.8t GLI). I just ordered her downpipe and an APR stage two tune is one the way. She's about as low as your Subie and static as well... but only drives the car about 3 miles a day to and from work.

I just slapped in a TRD panel filter and am pretty happy with it. I can actually hear the motor now :) Not sure if I want to do an exhaust yet. I am going to have the resonator just in front of the rear suspension cut out tomorrow and see what it sounds / feels like.

There's a thread on here in the suspension forum I think of a rolling shot video an iM that RSR has their hands on and they are prototyping some coilovers... the only thing I don't like is there is a photo of the rear and it's just and adjustable perch coil (not shock replacement). With the 35mm drop of the H&R springs I'm not really low, but the car handles A LOT better and the car actually looks like it should come at this ride height, but **** the car RSR is working on looks sexy. Lower than a rats sack but I bet it bounces like Cheech and Chong's van.

I'll have to go back digging through some of my old magazines... your Subie looks a lot like on that is on air and was in a magazine about 3-4 months ago. Same hood painted the same way... I am a huge fan of the look of the carbon fiber vents with that paint scheme. Whoever painted it did a **** good job.

Yeah.....the STi I currently own has zero, yes I said "zero" engine work done to it. Except for the cat back exhaust, everything else is either suspension or cosmetic mods. I know, I know...I'm probably the only person who hasn't done anything yet engine wise . Most suby owners, that's the first thing they do. Haha, I guess not me though. At some point I'll prolly get around to it, but I'd rather go air first....then I'll work on more power.

I've loved all models of Vdubs and have owned quite a few myself. I've had a mk2 GTI, a mk4 Jetta, mk5 GTI and 3 air cooled bugs. I had the APR stage II on my mk5, and that thing was a rocket. Just the perfect amount of power for me. Had an 2002 Audi A4 which was great as well.

I saw the thread about the RSR coilovers, and if I get the IM, I'll definitely do something with the suspension and lowering, because stock height on any car drives me crazy to look at. . I know one thing for sure...as much as I'd love to be as low as possible, that's probably not going to happen. This car be my daily driver, and pretty sure that having the car that's crazy slammed wouldn't be too practical. (haha, sure it'd look nice though!). I drive 500-600 miles a week for my job. I would definitely go lower than stock, either with springs or c/o's, just not super crazy low.
