Do you currently own any of those listed?First thing that comes to mind is the VW Golf. The Kia Forte. Hyundai Veloster.
Correct me if I'm wrong here guys.
Thanks Todd!Couple others I would compare it to are the Mazda3 hatch, Hyundai Elantra GT, and Focus hatch. If you go to Scion.com they have a comparison page that lists the pros and cons versus some of the models listed.
Mazda 3 hatch is probably the closest thing it comes to since when you compare looks, performance and overall something sporty, they are just about the sportiest it gets in the segment. I'm sure over time as more comparisons come online we'll see it become more and more true.Couple others I would compare it to are the Mazda3 hatch, Hyundai Elantra GT, and Focus hatch. Are you considering to switch over? or sticking with the golf?I haven't owned any of these, but I have driven in a Golf many times before. Great car. That's why it has stuck around for so long.
The Veloster and Mazda3 hatchback also seem like great models to look into.
Yeah, I'm on the fence between the two... I love how the veloster looks, my friend currently drives one and I was able to take it for a spin and I enjoyed the ride and the space inside too.Had a chance to see one of those performance package Velosters on the street and its quite attractive, something that might pull me away from the iM especially as the idea of buying one slightly used prevents one from dealing with that major depreciation in price typically had with a new car.
Oh nice !I got a chance to test drive the Hyundai Veloster 6spd Turbo when I was looking around for a car. The veloster was fast and light on handling. Hyundai actually offered it close to the same price as the iM. I had to leave to get my Tiburon for trade-in. On my way back to pick up the veloster, I decided to make a stop at scion. I never did a research about the iM but when I drove it, the iM gave me that solid feel that I never felt on the veloster. The quality of the iM interior is way better than the Veloster. The iM's independent rear suspension is also noticeable than the velsoters rear torsion beam suspension. I then ended up getting the iM and never looked back.
I have been driving the iM for about 45 days now. The only thing I regret is not getting the side moldings but as far as that, I love driving the car.Oh nice !
Congrats on getting the iM. How long have you had it for?
Maybe it's because I haven't seen the iM in person, I keep thinking the interior of the veloster is bigger (deceived by the wider body).
Glad to hear you didn't regret your decision![]()
oh wow it's bigger than I've imagined ! kind of shock it's more roomier than the IS300!I have been driving the iM for about 45 days now. The only thing I regret is not getting the side moldings but as far as that, I love driving the car.
The iM is not as compact as assumed. It actually has more room than my IS300. The decision is still up to you. Everything was just my opinion. Go checkout the iM and Test Drive so you can compare.![]()
