Hi! I'm Erik and this is my first Scion vehicle. I initially owned a 2009 VW Jetta Wolfsburg Edition 2.0t with Stage II flash, carbon fiber intake and 3" downpipe. It was such a fun car to drive, but maintenance costs began to be a pain in the rear. In addition, I had some very high repair costs which led to my wanting to get rid of it. I learned about the Scion iM during a walk around at work. I got familiar with the car and immediately fell in love with it. After months of attempting to purchase one, none of the local dealers were budging regarding my trade-in. Finally, I took delivery of a Black Sand Pearl 6 M/T on St. Paddy's Day. I will say that this iM has half the horsepower of my previous car, but gas mileage is amazing. I love this car! Here's to an adventurous journey!

In shopping, I was looking at the GTI. What a fun ride, but after hearing way too many early repair costs just after a few years in, I said nope.
