The U.S. car market always seems to get inferior version of subcompact and compact cars - especially from Japanese companies. For example, the Corolla 'iM' in Australia has the nicer full-LED headlights and standard factory equipped fog lights, to name a few upgrade differences.

Well, it was being sold as a Scion, which was the budget brand.

Now that it is a Toyota proper, I hope some of those features get added back in.
Yeah, I'm hoping these features make it to the 2018 or 2019 iM. Most Toyota's seem to go in 3 year refresh cycles until the next total redesign, so it should be refreshed in 2019, assuming it won't be completely replaced by the next-gen total-revamp Auris that is due in Europe in 2019 also I believe.
