CVT Manual Mode gear ratios?

Per the spec sheet the Drive Mode ratios are: 2.480-0.396

Anyone know the ratios for the 7 gears in Manual Mode?

1st gear appears to be taller than shortest Drive Mode ratio and 7th gear is shorter than tallest Drive Mode ratio. Sucks.

Here are diagrams for the Corolla, iM should be the same. Sucks that 1st gear ratio bends like that. So D mode is both faster than M mode when accelerating and more efficient at high speed.

That's for the manual not the CVT.

Ok... Thank you for that info... I thought it was just me... I wondered why the M mode on 1st was lame... I wouldn't be able to do a tirespin on a glass surface:serious:

in M mode will the CVT let you try and start from second?
in M mode will the CVT let you try and start from second?
No. It will automatically shift to an appropriate gear if the engine speed is too high or too low. So 2nd gear isn't possible until you get to to about 10 mph. When you're stopped the car will automatically go to 1st.
