Had a recent crash up in the canyon, was driving relatively slow going downhill. Not realizing the side of the mountain was wet and muddy prior too it raining a day ago. Lost control of the car and wham.... Thank god their was a barrier their otherwise I would not be here today. Luckily it was only the bumper ,one head lamp and the right fender that was damaged slightly.

Glad you're safe and it's only cosmetic damage. They can probably buff out the fender but i'm not sure about the bumper. Have to make sure your front axle isn't out of alignment too.
And now I've been effectively scared away from roads without guard rails.

Insurance going to cover it?

Don't be surprised if there is a delay in your parts shipping time. Here at the shop I work for we have an iA and the fender is delayed by 2 weeks. We have had a few iM's in for minor front damage but parts have been quick to get to us.

What is happening with the insurance and repairs? Everything covered? How long will it take them to repair things?

At least it didn't damage the rebar (unless it did) if it was just the bumper cover and fender... then you're lucky. Anything beyond that and it could have been some frame damage as well.
