So i really like the Lexus Spindle grill and our bumper already has the shape for it, so i thought i'll replicate it with some vinyl. It was an absolute pain to try to get it around the top edge where the grill is so i just cut it off because i didn't wanna peel the whole thing off. i'm gonna redo it with some plastidip and glossifier because vinyl sucks for complex shapes.

i'll get some better pictures later, forgot to take one before leaving work

i don't think you understand what plastidip is capable of these days. but you've probably only seen the cans at home depot and nothing else.
I am fully aware what Plastidip can do these days...its still crap IMO.

Either Vinyl Overlay or Paint is the only way for cosmetic stuff.

Just saying cuz I know you take pride in your car.

lol you obviously don't because plastidip looks exactly the same as paint now, you could not tell the difference from 5 feet away.

Meh...LoL...I guess I am scarred mentally w/ my poor experience w/ Plastidipping...haha and seeing over cars at Car Shows that were Plastidipped and how horrifying it looks in daylight.

Thats why I have bad Mojo against PLastidip.

"plastidip" it's much easier lol, but yea i agree, there's lots of cool lines to fill on the car and i will definitely do so.
Only if I could show you all my vinyl overlay work I have done on my Mazda...Just to show its easier and can be more creative w/ Vinyl etc....

Heres a frontal of my Mazda I have used Blk Satin Vinyl & Copper Metallic Vinyl and Woodgrain as the theming....Theres a lot of freaking Vinyl all over my car haha
