Anyway by chance if anyone knows if theres a way to adjust the brightness of the LED DRL's?...like a computer hack or something

I know on VW's you can do a hack and adjust the brightness of theirs.

Some reason the DRL's dont seem to be bright in the Daytime compared to other cars w/ LED DRL's.

the DRLs are very dim, i'll have to take a look at the lights someday to see if there's some sort of voltage regulator that can be bypassed and 12v just run straight to the lights.
Schweet....Let me know if you figure out a way to make the light output brighter..I am sure there is a way I am not an Electronic expert enough haha

Just why? DRL LED's are very bright, very comparable to other more expensive cars. I see their reflection every time I drive behind someone in traffic. If you think of one thing Toyota did right with our iM headlights, it is the DRL LED's.

they're dim as **** and look like someone stuffed some regular light bulbs in there. the stripe is completely invisible from a distance. most people don't even notice there's a stripe, only that ugly ass clump of LEDs in the corner. that needs to be diffused way better to give it a solid shape and a strip added in the stripe part to brighten it.

Toyota did make the style of headlamp you are looking for with longer stripes (pic shown). Unfortunately, this headlamps are only released in Japan (RS model) and Australia (ZR model).

Fortunately, I was told by Japan-parts that it is direct plug n play for our cars. The 2nd bulb is controlled when u use ur brights switch. I am currently saving money to buy used pair of these lamps to swap. Hopefully, it wont be that bad to swap lol...

Now this is awesome. Although light beam will have a different pattern, since Japan and Australia have right-hand drive cars. Are you going to get whole light assembly or just internal parts - projectors and LEDs?

Its goig to be the whole headlamp assembly. I will just have to buy and look for around for a decent used pair of headlamps. :)

I tried looking and found nothing..Now if there was a way to just fix that shitty beam pattern, I don't even understand how we ended up with that. I don't know about anyone else but it triggers some major OCD, every other projector I've seen doesn't look like a normal halogen beam pattern in front of the car.
