Thanks for testing the waters
Some people just like the look from other markets better. It also shows you know more about the car than the average Joe who thinks the iM is a completely new design and that you're an enthusiast. Think of all the people who converted their Integras to the JDM front end or the SilEightys from s13s. Just a preference of looks, only badges are a lot cheaper than conversionsNever really understood why people change the badges like this. I get removing the badges, but why change them to something else? At least its not being replaced by Ferrari badges or something.
Found out the hard way
The headlights are the same, bumper cover and grill are similar. The Toyota badge was two big by about 2mm... very close. I was not expecting that I wouldn't get any douchebag remarks from douchebags, but ... it's the internet... it happens.Considering the front end is completely different on the 2015, I'm not sure what exactly it is that you were expecting here.
I looked for a Unicorn vomiting rainbows, but alas settled for a Toyota logo... you know, the manufacturer of the car.Never really understood why people change the badges like this. Removing the badges makes sense but changing them doesn't? I think it's just a similar matter of personal choice. I'm not a fan of de-badged cars, but it's easy to understand why people do it; aesthetic choice.Never really understood why people change the badges like this. Except they're not. The shape's changed. You really aren't doing too good on the documenting end of things aren't you? Toyota refreshes focus on the plastics & wheels for the exterior. So for instance, while the fender line for the headlamps didn't change, the rest did to accommodate for the new design. Changing molds is cheaper than changing stamping. The headlights are the same
I'm not your "bro". Aside from being on this forum to just generally troll my posts and acting like aI mean **** bro, you're even confusing douchebaggery for just being a smartass.
Information Systems TechnicianYeah yeah, I get it, you're a Navy seal with 5000 confirmed kills.
Get over yourself, Jerry.
Isn't the shape of the headlights different? Will you need to cut into the iM to make it fit?****, now after looking at the difference in headlights, maybe down the road if the mod bug catches up to me and the necessary front end bits of the Auris are cheap enough... i might do an Auris swap. JDM for the win
