Good Morning guys,

i made a few research on the forum and I was wondering if my car could be fitted with 16'' wheels.

i found people that were talking about doing it, but i never found a proof that it could be done.

i have corolla IM 2017 so it's the same car than the scion im i think.

center is 60.1mm

5 X 114.3 seems to be the bolt pattern

what annoys me is the VERY LITTLE space available between the top of the caliper and the inside diameter of the wheel.

is it just because our oem mags are smaller than usual on the inside?

so is there anybody here who has done it?

thank you!

If you want a 16" wheel it will work just fine and you will need to use a 205/55R16 or a 225/50R16. The narrower tire is better for winter.

You didn't search hard if you found little documentation. Along with Tirerack's I've posted about owning 16"s. I've swapped to lighter 16s all year round and have a set of 16 winter tires back in Quebec.
