Thumbs up Updates

alriiiiiiight i've done a few things in the past month to make my iM "Mi"ne.

- Hella Supertone Horns
- A set of Foglights (thanks for the link with your update @B91SUPRA - And thank you @imports4life951 for your detailed instructions in your "diy foglights" thread.)
- Added a sub in the audio department
- Tightened in a Tanabe strut brace
- Bumper guard
- Mud guards
- Window vent visors (thank you @davect01 for the link)
- Went ahead and did the Air intake mod and added an Upgr8 dry air filter (thank you @iMQuinn for posting this in the air intake thread)
- Cool white interior lights and license plate lights (still waiting on my personalized plate lol..)

A lot of getting to know the car, super fun to work with. Still has that new car smell lol. really enjoying Mi iM.
Reading throughout the forum definitely helped with everything. Thanks! Let's keep it up!

Oh and check out my garage if interested in Pics. I try to update as I go.

I think that gloss black trim can have its life prolonged with regular car wax, or you can just wrap it with a protective film. Over the years those can develop scratches to the point if you want to get rid of the scratches you have to replace the entire trim piece.

I don't wax the black trim, I use a Rubber/Leather/Rubber Conditioner

It's kind of difficult to keep the gloss black trim protected, film is the easier method but I would just use some sort of protectant spray on it. Keep cleaning it off and reapplying periodically

Wrapping the trim with a clear vinyl might do it. Or something easier would be plasti dip but that might require more effort over a long span of time.
