Check your Lease Agreement, some require the dealership to do all the servicing. Others don't care where it is done, as long as you provide proof.
2- Buying out a lease is always a great option, just negotiate well.

If you're currently leasing you should go and get the oil changed and whatever whenever you can. You will need to check other prices for the same care when the lease ends before making a choice.

New member from So.Cal..hello..
hello IM owners!
I am new member to forum. Iam using 2016 IM for 2.5 yrs and loving it. I have couple of questions, would really appreciate if you can suggest,
1. Today morning "maintenance required" sign showed up. My last maintenance was done by Toyota dealer about 4500Miles back (july 2018). Should I rush to Toyota dealer and get basic maintenance done OR I have time till July 2019 to wait? Are there other cheaper options for servicing than Auto nation/Toyota in so.cal?
2. My lease will end soon (Jun 2019) and I want to retain car but I am unsure as brand is now Toyota. So should I buy car at end for $12,900? OR get it now? what is cheaper? it has 17.5k miles till date.
