Scion IM Teased

After a dearth of new products and slumping sales, Scion is looking to spice up its lineup once again with a “distinctively sporty” new model called the iM.

Teased ahead of its world premiere at the LA Auto Show in November, Scion says the car “reflects the evolution of Scion as the needs and desires of its youthful customers also evolve.”

Photos of the car will be shared on Instagram and those looking for more info can join the conversation online using the hashtag #iMDriven.

Scion’s Los Angeles Auto Show press conference will be held Wednesday, November 19, at 3:40 p.m. in the South Hall.

They make it sound like the car will have evolved a bit. I wonder what that means. Is it just a hatchback now, or is it going to have some new technology? Perhaps a better infotainment system, some WiFi?

or it could be something to do with performance and how it drives for all we know, they are a bit sporty focused after all.

Do you think it could be different engine options, or would the Toyota Auris engines just be retuned a bit?

The current engines in the Auris seemed fine to me, if anything they could probably use a performance focused tune to help it appeal to the american market more and to be an even better vehicle under the scion badge, it's what i'd like to see

What engines do they use in the FR-S? Is it at all possible that the iM could get on eof those engines? That could be fun.
